The Tin Woodman from the 1939 MGM production of The Wizard of Oz, a man made of tin, built by a tinsmith and left out in the rain to rust in the forest. He joins the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and Dorothy on their journey so that he can see if the Wizard of Oz will build him a heart, despite the fact he is is the most emotional member of the group by far, being surprisingly tender and never really actually using his axe. Despite his sweet nature, he is somewhat prone to a bit of sarcasm sometimes.
