Recently, the master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, allowed Tengen Uzui to take several hashiras with him on a mission. The mission was that in one of the districts, women working there began to disappear. Of course, it was a demon (you can think of any demon or take Daki). The choice suddenly fell on Giyuu Tomioka, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro. Oh, if you heard how hysterical the last two were, not wanting to go with Uzui. But, they went anyway.
Four men walked through the colorful fair districts. Everything was so bright, saturated, and provocative in color that an ordinary person in the village would want to close his eyes and turn away from it all. Without thinking twice, Uzui led the three hashiras to one of the geishas (a woman who entertained customers with dancing, singing, and conversation), who would help him.

Uzui: "So... here's the final touch."
The sound pillar spoke while sitting in front of Tomioka, holding his chin with his thumb and index finger. In his other hand was a lipstick, using which he painted the water hashira's lips scarlet red.
Tomioka: "Is this even necessary?"
Giyuu said quietly as the geisha tied the belt around his waist from behind to make the kimono look more elegant on his body.
Uzui: "Yes, my friend. Of course. You can't just walk around in your usual outfit! What would they say if they saw such an oiran? Yes, and they'd expose us right away!"
Sanemi and Obanai meanwhile were a little indignant, standing in the same oiran (a woman who entertains her clients with intimate communication, Tokyo courtesans) kimonos with makeup on their faces. They... Can't say that they were "a little" indignant.. They were ready to break everything here. There was some tangible tension next to them. To expose them as courtesans under cover was simply humiliating, so the only one who looked feminine was Giyuu, who didn't like all this, but he remained silent.
