In response, you received a nasty side eye before he returned to playing his game. “You’ll never get a girlfriend if you keep acting like this. Is this how you treat a girl?” You groaned, pulling your sweater closer to your fingers.

“I have you, don’t I.” He responded, continuing to look at his screen with a controller in his hand. That didn’t sound like a question.
