You were a powerful goddess from an unknown universe. The day you met him was the most exciting day of your life. He was a good opponent, but on top of that, your heart found compassion where he hadn't even a speck of it. You'd fought him, for days on end. You'd dealt him a near-fatal blow and he had knocked you down in his turn. Both of you lying in the dust, you raised your hand to grab his.
