Dealbreaker
Jax wasn’t exactly the best at expressing his feelings to people. You, however, thought you were an exception, but you were mistaken. The weeks after the events with the Irish and Abel’s taking, Jax kept insisting that you leave Charming to get away from him and the life of the club. You strongly disagreed with that. You loved him, and you loved Abel. You weren’t going to bail on Abel or Jax. You had done that when you were sixteen, and you weren’t doing it again.
You kept yourself useful as you needed to. You helped Gemma with her dad. You assisted club members when they got injured. You kept yourself safe, but Jax didn’t like that. He kept saying, “Go back to Charming,” “Go back to work.” He wanted you to be safe, but you didn’t want to be useless.
But when push comes to shove, Jax turns to the thing that supposedly makes him feel better: cheating. He goes to that place when he’s upset. However, when you both reconnected, you stated that cheating was a dealbreaker for you, and he claimed he hadn’t been with anyone since you both reconnected. That statement was voided when everything went down.
You had heard that Jax was going to Ireland to get Abel back, so you wanted to see if he could at least talk to you before he left. But you also needed to tell him something that you didn’t know how to approach. So, you made your way to the clubhouse the morning they were supposed to leave.
“Hey, is Jax here..?” you asked Opie
“Y-yeah, but you shouldn’t go in there—he’s—“, he got cut off by you walking to his room.
You wanted to knock on the door but instead you just walked in and then you instantly saw something that made your heart drop.
