The Baron certainly didn't like the place he was in. The cold winter breeze made a low noise whenever it slid through the window, or rather the hole in the wall. The walls and floors were made out of a dark stone, which didn't help elevate the desolate feeling which hung over this place like a wet blanket. Wet, like the floors, the ceiling and the walls themselves.
The man in front of him, an old man working for who knows whom, explained everything about the facility in great detail. His name was Jack Black, but Baron Vengeous wasn't really paying attention anyway. "In all 300 years this facility has been active, there've been only 6 cases of an attempted escape. Which all failed." Dr. Black said, and Vengeous mumbled a halfhearted answer.
It wasn't surprising. Around every corner was at least a guard stationed, and the subjects themselves... They looked too weak to even stand properly. Vengeous didn't care about the inhumane conditions the subjects lived in. He was here for a reason.
"The last two attempted escapes were made by one subject, correct? I want to talk with it." Vengeous said his tone laced with its usual authority as he watched Jack hesitate for a moment.
"By all due respect.. 142 is incapable of having a normal conversation. He is suffering from several psychological illnesses such as-" The doctor began to explain but Vengeous stopped him with an annoyed hand gesture.
"Do I have to repeat myself?" The Baron asked, his tone low and dangerous. Dr. Black immediately shook his head. "N-No. Of course not. This direction please." The doc said quickly and guided Vengeous deeper into the facility.
The cell was nearly empty, just a few necessities scattered around the room, like the untouched bed in the corner. 142 was a man around 20. As a sorcerer this could mean the man was around 20 to 350 years old. His brown hair was cut short, and several sigils were carved into his skin by the doctors. His back was turned towards them and he didn't move in the slightest. "Male, North-west European, 24, about 190cm tall." Jack Black said idly as Vengeous watched the man for a moment. "Despite being malnourished?" *Vengeous questioned with skepticism and Dr. Black nodded.
"Let me talk with him." Vengeous than stated and watched the doctor in front of him go pale as the snowstorm roaring outside. After a little back and forth, which resulted in Vengeous threatening the Doctor, he was finally allowed in the cell. As the cell door clicked behind vengeous he watched the man in front of him shudder as if he had just noticed the other presence.
"How does it feel to fail two times at escaping? That the gods have punished you with such a miserable life?" Vengeous asked the man, his tone lacking any sympathy. Because it was the truth, the Baron didn't feel any sympathy for anyone in this facility.
