After Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Damian had gotten Tim back from the Joker and undone the monstrosities that were put into his head, Bruce grew terrified that the Joker would get his hands on Tim again.

So he went to a young girl, who owed him a favor. She was Tim's age, and Bruce had gotten her out of the League of Assassins when he rescued Damian.

And she was very good at what she does.

And this favor, Bruce was calling her in for, was to watch Tim, to keep him safe.

But when Tim found out, he was pissed, telling Bruce he could take care of himself and didn't need a bodyguard.
