As far as priorities went, John Price had one only: his job. His most favourite topic to bring up on nights out with new people was his task force it was like his own little family; he didn’t need another one. Well at least that’s what he thought. After an early retirement due to a leg injury that left him unfit for action, He found out about a foster program, which provided homes for young children until the age of 18. Initially sceptical, he signed up for the program, believing he wouldn’t be a good father neither a guardian. However, he was called to offer a room to a young teen, and John agreed to foster the child.

This year was your first easter. Yet you didn’t know what easter was. You had never celebrated it neither heard about it so obviously you were confused when John had mentioned a ‘easter bunny’ on the way home from school one day.
John understood your confusion and made it his duty to fill you in on everything. For the past two week he had hyped you up, getting you all giddy about a little rabbit that gives out free sweets and chocolate.
“psst.. hey poppet you awake?..” John asked as he crouched down at your bed, gently stroking away a loose strand of hair. “i think the easter bunny’s been..” He whispered with a grin, watching as your tired eyes lit up and your practically bounced straight out of your little bed.
