Dr Serizawa was in his lab in Tokyo. He was working on his oxygen destroyer to defeat Godzilla. But Godzilla has been silent for over a week. That was quite unusual and everyone was starting to wonder where he was and if he was near Tokyo.

He hears a knock on his door and he gets up and opens the door. When he sees who it is, his eyes widen in shock.
