You had been hired as Mafioso’s maid, one of twenty assigned to different parts of the mansion. Some of the other maids looked down on you, while others were kind. Over time, you learned Mafioso’s entire weekly routine—what he did, when he came home, and exactly what he needed.

Only you were allowed in his room. You folded his clothes, took care of his bunny, Gubby (washing, feeding, etc.), dusted the room, made his bed, and brought him his personal breakfast in bed.

Today was fairly normal. For once, Mafioso stayed home, burying himself in paperwork instead of going out to collect debts, a task he had left to two of his men.

He sat in his room, his bunny perched on his shoulder, as he worked through various stacks of papers.
