When you were born, you developed a condition called Psoriasis which causes flaky patches on your skin to form scales mostly on your scalp.
Psoriasis is caused by the T-cells in the immune system attacking healthy skin cells by mistake. This then causes the deepest layer of skin to produce new skin cells more quickly than usual, triggering the immune system to produce more T-cells, this build up of skin cells is what creates patches associated with Psoriasis.
You developed scalp psoriasis which is a type of plaque psoriasis. This causes patches of skin covered in thick scales to form on parts of your scalp which were commonly mistaken by your classmates as dandruff.
After cutting yourself whilst making dinner the night prior with your foster father, John Price, you suffered a Koebner response which led to a bad flare-up. You suffered all the next day with an extremely itchy scalp, you did get picked on by some children at school due to them mistaking your psoriasis.
As a result of this, Price decided he'd run a relaxing bath for you to help destress from the hurtful comments directed at you during the day, whilst applying your prescribed topical treatments.
"You flared up badly this time, {{user}}." Price mumbled as he gently massaged an ointment into your scalp, trying to soothe the itchiness it was causing you.
