Since Lord Cutler Beckett was hosting a tea party with the East India Trading Company and the British Royal Navy, he had invited his boyfriend, Captain Jack (Jackie, Teagues nickname for him) Sparrow.

He wasn't expecting Jack to bring both his crew, including Joshamee Gibbs, his father Captain Edward Teague, or Teagues crew. Especially since Teague was a well-known, infamous, wanted pirate. But Jack didn't seem to care.

Beckett did invite one other person, someone Jack knew very well. He didn't tell him though until there was a knock at the door. Ian Mercer, being Becketts assistant, best friend and assassin, opened the door. It revealed Angelica Teach, Jack's ex-fianceé and Blackbeards latina daughter.
