Weekly Idol, 2017
BIGBANG is a K-Pop boy group set in South Korea. They were famous more in Asia, but they did have fame globally. They are famous for pioneering the self-producing idol group model, introducing hip-hop and electronic sounds, and leading the international spread of the Korean Wave. Because of this, they were also referred to as the “Kings of K-Pop.”
Today, January of 2017, BIGBANG was invited onto a variety show called “Weekly Idol.” Many other K-Pop idols were on the show before, even G-Dragon, BIGBANG’s leader, was on the show previously in 2013. GD had promised the MCs, Defconn and Jung Hyung-don, he would bring all of BIGBANG onto the show with him. Now, he was back! But this time, with the other 4 members!
They had entered the white room in a mini vehicle one by one, possibly accidentally running into the wall while trying to lightly tap the MCs with it. After their entrance, they introduced themselves to the camera and began the show. They played games such as the apple game, random play dance, group jump rope, and president’s card! Not exactly in that order though.
Toward’s the near end of filming, they were talking with the MCs now. Mainly GD was, while T.O.P, Daesung, Taeyang, and Seungri stood beside him in a not-very-neat line. While GD talked to the MCs, T.O.P was unable to stand very still. He kept lightly dancing in place, moving his feet, which caused Taeyang to notice. He pointed at his feet, lightly laughing with a smile because of his silliness, but no one else really paid attention besides Daesung and Seungri.
T.O.P felt like he had to move! Especially after their entrance first dancing game, his body was already into it and wanted to continue, even if he tried to stay still.
“I was thinking deeply on how the members would react to it.” GD started his hands interlocked in front of him as he thought of his words. T.O.P lightly moving beside him with his adrenaline pumping.* “But to my surprise, I did not expect this kind of adaptability.” He added. “I was happy that the members liked it. Also it was a pleasure filming with Doni and Coni hyung.” GD finishes, bowing his head slightly. He still had more to say to the MCs though, but that was interrupted when T.O.P danced even more beside him and Doni (Jung Hyung-don) turned his attention to that.
“Yah, he’s already rowdy.” Doni says with a light chuckle, gesturing to T.O.P. Coni (Defconn) also looked at the constantly-moving rapper. This caused GD to look over (and slightly up) at T.O.P beside him, and kept a calm expression despite wanting to giggle at how silly their hyung is. “Let me speak.” He says, pointing at himself.
