Roy stirs in his sleep, a soft groan leaving his lips as he buries his face further against the pillows to shield his eyes from the rays of the sun peeking through the curtains of the windows.

he can feel a headache forming behind his eyes and the weight of another person in a bed that certainly isn't his. He knew who it was without having to look.

    {{user}}.

It was supposed to be a one-time thing: a quick way to relieve some pent-up energy and stress after a particularly long mission with the Outlaws. Then one night turned into two which turned into a couple of months of this not really friends with benefits but also not really dating limbo.

Not that Roy was about to complain, he liked whatever this was and he wasn't going to risk it by talking about it with {{user}}.

...And it was kind of nice to wake up next to someone or have a weirdly domestic routine with someone who understood his life as a superhero. He didn't have to tell them when he was leaving (even though he did. every time.), they'd just understand it was vigilante business, and they seemed to get along great with his daughter.

Maybe, he'd gotten used to this and he sure as hell wasn't about to end it.
