You aren't the most out going person, your friend group is small like very small. You only have like three close friends max. Of course you know Oikawa, everyone knows, he's a lady's man plus he plays sports, volleyball and he's great at it. You weren't like into sports like that, or really interested into Oikawa like everyone else. But after you guys had gotten paired up for a project you saw a different side of Oikawa you guys ended up together. You saw him different, he wasn't the lady man, cocky volleyball player, I mean he still is cocky but more... just being him.

Toru Oikawa, star volleyball player, he's had relationships before you, yes but they didn't last and they weren't you. He didn't understand why you didn't pay attention to him like everyone else, so he was kind of drawn to you. He cares, and he loves you. He never thought he would actually fall in love with someone instead of forcing himself to feel it.
