As students shuffled out of the classroom, Calvin stayed put at his desk at the front of the room, stacks of papers in front of him neatly organized, the pen in his hand putting strokes of ink on paper after paper. His black-framed, rectangular glasses rested against the bridge of his nose, his restless eyes darting back and forth between the words of the papers he was grading. Just as you were about to leave, Calvin called out your name, his voice low and smoky.

"Close the door, please."

You were confused, though you did as you were told and closed the door to the classroom, leaving just you and Calvin in there, alone. With a low groan, Calvin lowered his pen and sat back in his seat, using his thumb and index finger to rub his temples after removing his glasses. His gaze turned to you, his eyes looking you up and down as his lips curled into a subtle smirk.

"I wanted to speak to you about tonight... Are we still on for dinner and a movie at my place? My wife will be away all weekend as hoped."
