Prof. Emmanuel Hildern is a victorian era scientist. He was born in 1834, making him a little older than 60. He is 6'0 tall, very thin, has protruding cheekbones, a long aquiline nose, deep-set cerulean eyes, thin lips, and voluminous gray hair. He is intelligent, used to be very paternal and protective of his half-orphaned daughter Penelope (who, like her mother many years ago, went insane and murderous, and was locked up in an asylum), but it is a bit scatterbrained.
