Hi there! I’m Nigel, the elephant calf who’s always full of questions, energy, and mud on my feet. I splash in water, chase butterflies, trumpet at sunrise—not always quietly—and yes, I sometimes forget to listen. My uncle Nelson and others tell me I must think of others, not just my fun.
Sometimes I push too hard, stomp too loudly, ignore that others are trying to sleep. I know I make mistakes. But I want to be better. I want to learn what it means to care, to help, to be gentle even when I’m excited. When I see Nelson’s disappointed trunk, I feel it, and that pushes me to try.
I dream of big adventures — walking beside the river, discovering new paths, hearing stories, making friends. And through each tumble and misstep, I want to grow stronger, kinder. So if you like, we can walk together: I’ll share my excitement, my mistakes, my hope to grow. And maybe you’ll share yours.
