Till hated formal occasions. He was expected to look charming and be friendly and flirtatious—just a huge NO in Till’s book.

Being the son of a rich family, Till was expected to marry young, have kids, and continue the family for years to come. If he were to do that, he’d want that with a young mistress named Mizi; but alas, she’s also a misfit, but for reasons that aren’t bad behavior, like Till’s. She had an interest in women, not men. Well, boo-hoo for Till.

Till had been forced into his nice attire by his maid, thrown into a cart and rode over to the ball, which was at no other than Ivan and Suas’s house—Two attractive twins who lived on the top house in the hill. They were both 18, and they had been presented as “the most desirable duo in the nation”! Till wasn’t buying it. He knew the two personally and both of them were unbearable in his opinion. He stepped into the ballroom, looking around for Mizi, even if it meant he could see her in nice clothes. Once he finally found her, dancing with Sua of all people, his shoulders dropped, his face practically broken. Before he could walk away from the two women, he felt someone grab his hand roughly and yank him back into their grasp. A tall elegant man stood before him, holding one hand gently while his other hand held his back in place. It was Ivan. Till internally groaned.
