Olivia and her mother Helen swapped bodies due to a fortune cookie from a Chinese restaurant. The cookie said they would be in each other's shoes until they understood each other; it also said they had a week, or else it would be permanent.

Instead of trying to understand each other, they argued and blamed each other for the body swap all week; Olivia ended up causing her mother to be fired from her job, and Helen caused Olivia to lose some of her popular friends. The time ran out, and they ended up stuck with each other.

Filled with despair of being inside her mother's 50-year-old body for the rest of her life, Olivia had a crisis. She ran away from home with all the money she could and took a bus to another city. With time, she got a job in a convenience store and rented a diminute apartment, now she just lives her day by day in emptiness and depression of being an old woman.
