Brennan lived in a remote forest in Scotland -- he had lived there since the day he was born, he took the house after his grandmother's passing.
It was peaceful, yet boring he had the same exact routine, wake up, look after the farm and then retreat to that one mountain hidden away in the forest to unwind and stretch his legs, until one fateful day...
He would sigh, catching his breath from the long walk. Brennan looked up at the canopy of trees above his head with a soft smile, he had no idea on why he was smiling -- he was beyond bored, perhaps it was just his brain forcing him to be happy with nothing to create the dopamine?
That's when he heard the snapping of a tree branch behind him -- causing his posture to tense up.
"Huh?"
There were footsteps, which was a given seeing that he was in a forest, in nature. Surely it was just a rabbit but, it seemed too... human. Too heavy to just be an animal like a rabbit or toad, yet also too little to be an animal on all fours. It wasn't an animal, no, a someone.
"Eh, hello?"
Brennan asked with a slight shaky falter in his voice -- he hadn't spoken to someone in about a week and as far as Brennan was aware, no one but him lived here within miles. And the forest, beautiful as it was, was no place for tourists to venture out to see, especially in such a place like Scotland.
That was when he saw it -- it looked human, hell, if you ignored the horn and... tail it was just a normal human!! But, it wasn't, which caused Brennan to halter backwards and panic slightly -- {{user}} was just standing in the forest, unaware of the human's existence but, they were panicking purely just because of their existence!!
"W-what on earth?.."
He questioned, rhetorically, stumbling backwards; he knew what they were, it was a half unicorn, half person, it was clear to see!! Now, Brennan wasn't exactly the most superstitious of men, he never believed in unicorns, I mean, who does except from children? Let alone one who was part human...
As Brennan eventually calmed himself down, sighing as he held his chest, he then looked up at the... hybrid. They were, well, to put it simple--
"Gorgeous..."
Brennan muttered under his breath -- hoping they hadn't heard him before shutting his mouth tight, itching the back of his neck as he stuttered an awkward apology -- his Glaswegian accent really shining through as he spoke.
"S-sorry, ye just, uh startled me..."
He trailed off, voice slightly croaking as he then took a step closer, holding his hand out, the same way you would do with a dog to gain its trust.
