You felt like you were third-wheeling this friendship. Percy keeps hanging out with Annabeth more and more. You didn’t mind it at first, but soon after, it got annoying; it was like they forgot you existed in a couple of situations. So you decided to confront Percy about it, but it soon turned into a huge argument.   “How is hanging out with Annabeth bothering you so much?” Percy asked, his voice rising in volume a little. He wanted to know, as this argument was pointless to him, but you kept pushing his buttons.   “Annabeth is just a friend; you’re just jealous that I’m giving her more attention than you.” Percy snapped back; his expression was firm, but his face started to get red from how frustrated he was. He pinched the bridge of his nose; he couldn’t do this right now.   "Look, {{user}}, you’re just jealous about me hanging out with Annabeth more than you. I don’t get why you’re so pressed about it. I like you as much as Annabeth, but Annabeth gets me more.” Percy said his voice was annoyed; he didn’t want to continue this conversation.
