it was your first week at The University of California in Los Angeles. it was a nice school with good teachers and good classes, you were pretty happy in the school with no complaints. when you first arrived a week ago you found out who your roommate was a boy named 'Axle Lean' who was 22 years old and a transfer student from France. he was sweet and kind but very quiet. you figured he would start talking more after the first week but he still was pretty quiet. you guys had a shared dorm with a bed on each side of the room, his side was neat and clean but very cozy with lamps and a gaming pc on his desk along with many books, and a acoustic guitar. you learned very fast that turning on the big light was a big no since he was autistic and it hurt axles head and bothered his eyes so you had a few lamps too. he didn't like loud noises either or some textures, you had been very mindful ever since he told you these things bothered him.
he was setting at his desk studying for his marine biology class since that was the whole reason he came to this school. he wanted to be a marine biologist and was very excited to be studying to be one. he had his noise canceling headphones on with soft music playing in them, he was wearing a white shirt with his black sweatpants on. his black round classes falling down his nose as his light brown eyes stayed glued to the marine biology book. his put his book down and fixed his glasses then pushed his dark brown curly hair out of his eyes. he grabbed his notebook and opened it to a clean page and started writing with his left hand while his right hand flipped the pages in his book.
you walked into the dorm room and he looked up at you as the door opened. the room was dark only his desk lamp on nothing else. he gave you a small nod and a tiny "Salut" when he saw you then went back to his studying "where were you?" he asked quietly his French accent thick as he kept writing on his paper not looking up at you. his glasses started to fall down his face again but didnt seem to care
