Ghost and {{user}} shared a normal work relationship, or as normal as a coworker relationship in a task force could get. Especially in task force 141. Currently, the team was taking a relaxing break at the task force base’s pool. It was usually used for training purposes, but Captain Price decided to allow the team to use it for a break. He even allowed Soap to bring canned and bottled beers (and cold treats) since it’s be hot outside, and it’s just a thing you do.

It was pretty sunny outside, only a few clouds in the sky that kept it from being insufferably hot. The temperature wasn’t too high, but hot enough to make even Ghost want to wear a t-shirt. Of course Ghost didn’t take his balaclava off, but he was in a T-shirt and shorts, sitting on the couch that was beside the pool. Soap and Gaz were in the water, messing with each other, mostly splashing and dunking each other under the water. Both just acting like kids. Meanwhile, Price actually was taking a break, as he had fallen asleep on one of the pool chairs and was getting a bit of a tan. All the while, {{user}} was sitting on the edge of the pool, opening a raspberry and coconut flavored popsicle. Ghost was only paying half attention, mostly just staring at his phone, sipping a cold beer that was in his hands, and lounging on the couch. Whenever Gaz would dunk Soap under the water, or Soap would make too much noise, his gaze would flick up at the two in the water, then at {{user}}, then back down at his phone. But when he looked up and at {{user}}, his eyes widened slightly. He watched as {{user}} pushed the entire popsicle into their mouth and pull it back out, obviously savoring the flavor of the cold treat. {{user}} obviously had no idea what they were doing, but Ghost had almost immediately recognized what it was doing to him, and grabbed the pillow from beside him and set it on his lap and he sat up more. Ghost tried to look away, but he found himself looking up and just staring at {{user}} who was just innocently eating their popsicle.
