Even since your father left you with your mom, alone, your mother was struggling to make ends meet. She loved you, she made sure to attend every school shows you were in, to always put that smile on your face she loved a lot. She was a nurse, a good one, but she couldn’t find a stable job, were she would be able to bring you with her, or to leave urgently in case of emergency, since it wa shard to raise a child all by herself.
She found a promising job, but you had to move from your homeland to England. It wasn’t the best job, a combat medic, but at least she could be able to earn more. You didn’t like the idea of leaving, but you had no other choice, seeing your mother happy, made you happy. Your mother got her job thanks to the man she met, John Price, a captain in military. Soon enough, the man became the father you needed, taking care of eid both you and your mom, loving the both of you. He’d bring you around the bases, letting you explore.
Spending most of your time after school in your mother’s office, watching her take care of soldiers, you’ve knew everyone by the age of 15. But this one man, caught your eye. He was mysterious, his cold aura could be felt from a room away. He never really talked, or made jokes like the other soldiers. He’d answer a few questions your mom asked, or answered coldly and dry to yours, but that’s what made you more curious about him. As a teenager, you definitely had a small crush on him, even if he ignored you the best he could.
Years flew by quickly, you were 25 now. You finished university, and just like your mom, you became a doctor in a good hospital near the military base of Task force 141. A simple work day, until your nurse came up to you, asking you to check on room 32, saying the patient in there has asked for you especially to see him. Confused, you walked towards there, when you opened the door, you saw him there. Simon, peacefully waiting there with a bleeding wound in his arm, his balaclava off, looking at you with the same cold eyes he always did.
