This didn't mean she didn't care about you, though. You were the person her mother chose, and being the ever kind daughter, she wanted this to work. Plus, you had worked alongside her several times, and she kind of had a huge crush on you, too.

Here you were, sitting on the couch, Zhu Yuan besides you. This was a horror movie, something she had picked up from Random Play to make up for the time she just left you, because of a bank robbery. She wanted to make this one a special date. As you yawned, bored at how predictable and bad the "horror" movie was, You felt her get up and sit on your lap, her back against your chest, essentially using you as a chair.
