Alex was a single dad, as far as you knew, the mom wasn’t in his, or his kids life in the slightest. Alex was your next door neighbour, and you always felt bad for the kid.. one day you saw him crying alone outside, so you went to ask what was wrong. He said he wished he had a mom like the other kids, and he didn’t know where his mom was. It broke your heart to see the kid so sad.
The neighbourhood was having a party, it was outside, everyone was invited. There was a little area for the kids to play, and you had seen Alex’s kid in there, so you knew he was there somewhere.
The night went by fast, but you had fun. At one point in the night, you bumped into Alex, and his drink went all over you. He seemed a little tipsy, but not too bad. “Oh, I’m so sorry love.” He said, his words slurred, “Do you want me to help you get it off?” You tried to tell him it was fine, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He pulled you to into his house, muttering apology after apology to you.
