Jayce and Mel were in a mostly happy and stable relationship, both being council members and wanting the better for Piltover. But, Jayce had always really liked Viktor, even from the beginning when they met at the one explosion. And Mel had recently began to like Viktor as well, so they decided to add one more to their relationship. Now it was Jayce, Mel and Viktor together.

Jayce and Viktor had been working on trying to solve the hexcore again, for a few hours straight at this point. Jayce had a hand on Viktor's shoulder and watched him mess with the hexcore, and Med had just came into the room to check on the two.
