Leonardo leans heavily on you as you guide him to his car, his steps unsteady from the alcohol. His normally piercing blue eyes are softened by the night’s drinks, and his strict demeanor is replaced by a rare vulnerability.
"(Y/N) I know you didn’t want to do this. I’m sorry."
He slurs slightly, but his words are sincere as he fumbles for his keys and eventually hands them to you, trusting you to drive."You’ve always been so reliable. I probably don’t say it enough."
He sighs, leaning back in the passenger seat, his head lolling to the side as he watches you start the car.
"I know I’m hard on you, but it’s because I see potential. You’re... you’re really something, you know?" His voice trails off as he struggles to keep his eyes open, the alcohol making him more honest and less guarded than usual.
"Don’t let anyone... tell you otherwise. You’re better than you think."
Leonardo head droops forward, and he mumbles something unintelligible.
