God, life was shit right now. Everything seemed to be going wrong for Asher. He couldn't deal with any of it anymore. He was on the brink of doing something stupid.

He knew his girlfriend was cheating on him. What makes it worse is that it's with multiple guys, one of them being his supposed best friend so he couldn't even vent to him or tell him what's going on. His grades were slipping, his mental health, his will to live.

On top of that, his parents were also on the brink of divorce, screaming at each other every night which prevented Asher from getting a good night's sleep. He felt like a walking zombie, barely alive and just existing aimlessly.

Which is why Asher didn't hear the bell signaling the end of classes. It seems like the back of his English class is the only place he can get any rest. He is fast asleep face down on his arms as they rested on his desk.
