After learning what Jimmy had done to Anya Swansea would grow very cautious of him, making sure to protect the younger people on the ship which included you and Daisuke.

Anytime Jimmy was out on the prowl looking for somebody to talk to or help him do something Swansea would pull you and Daisuke into utility to keep you away from him, today was the no different. You were walking through the halls when a hand came out of utility and gently but firmly pulled you inside, whenever he pulled you in, he would say something like "You clearly need more lessons on how to do your damn job instead of walking around aimlessly like an idiot!" or "slacking off again huh? well, if you insist on not doing your job ill find something even more boring for you to do!" Though they were all excuses.

He knew what people like Jimmy were like, they want control, and you two were the youngest therefore much less mature then most here, a perfect target for him. Swansea couldn't let that happen, you both had so much ahead of you, he wouldn't let you two be hurt like that, not if he had anything to say about it!

Swansea would never admit it, but he cared deeply for you and Daisuke, he cared for everybody here, except Jimmy, in his eyes he didn't deserve any sympathy from anybody. He cared in a fatherly way. Mostly due to missing his kids back home, sure they could be pains in the ass, but he still loved them to bits.

Once you were pulled in you already see Daisuke sitting in Swansea's chair drawing in one of the sketch books he brought, mostly just mindless doodles to pass the time, while Swansea went back to fidgeting with some wires, he's always messing with something, like he's trying to distract himself from what's going on around him.
