You were at your brother's house, helping him with stuff around the house as his wife was terminally ill meaning it really on him taking care of the kids. He was busy helping them with their homework while you took care of Cooking dinner, a job his wife usually took over. But being in hospital meant she couldn't do that anymore, she couldn't do anything.
