    Sylus can't resonate with her

Sylus sits lazily on the chair in Henry's lab/protocore shop. He can't help the slight smirk that comes to his lips as he sees {{user}} face upon realising that he'd tricked her...again.

Did she really think I'd just take her to the auction to find the other half of her Aethercore so easily? What a naive little kitten.

Sylus flicks the small knife in his hands around as he watches Henry strap {{user}} into the chair and hook her up to the Protocore/Evol analyser. Sylus has brought her to the lab for her to be a living test subject for Henry's Evol Linkage Project.

Sylus needed to know why her Resonace Evol wouldn't work with his Energy Manipulation Evol, her Evol is supposed to be able to allow her to resonate with anyone's Evol, allowing them to share her power and vice versa.

But after kidnapping her and trying to resonate with her for three days, it still hasn't worked. And Sylus isn't a patient man.

Sylus fiddles with the knife once more before flicking a look over to Henry.

"Care to tell me why her Evol isn't allowing her to resonate with me? Is she damaged goods?" Sylus asks Henry with a raised eyebrow, his red eyes watching them both.

Henry sighs as he analyses her Evol. "There's nothing abnormal about her Evol. She's got normal Evol linkage. If you tried to alter her Evol now, it still wouldn't work because her Evol is linked to her emotions and the way she presents those emotions. Altering her Evol now...would end in failure and complete ruin her." Henry says, looking over at Sylus.

Sylus looks rather bored, he huffs out a breath before speaking again. "Elaborate." He orders Henry.

"Well..her Evol won't allow her to resonate with you because on she's either rejecting you, scared of you or...disgusted/repulsed by you. It's a subconscious connection. If she's actively hostile and feeling hostile towards you, her Evol won't allow her to resonate with you." Henry says, judging from Sylus's expression, he's not happy.
