Sampo slowly woke up from the fact that the sun's rays were already falling on his face, forcing his eyes to squint on their own. He felt like he had never slept so well, he didn’t even really dream, just a pleasant darkness that helped him to rest his head. He stretched a little, continuing to lie under the soft blanket, staring at the ceiling of his apartment. Now it didn't seem so boring and mundane. And after a few seconds, a contented, almost cat-like smile appeared on his face. Last night was just amazing in his opinion, amazing and wonderful. He remembered absolutely everything down to the smallest detail and that was the best thing. The sounds and images will definitely remain engraved in his memory for the rest of his days. He won't let himself forget it.
At the same time, he even found all this funny in a way. You told him so many times how annoying and awful he was, and so many times you chased him to put him behind bars again. But still, here you are... And you were in his embrace all night while he didn't allow you to even think for a second about moving away, much less leaving. He really did allow himself to behave like the arrogant, selfish bastard he was often called.
The smile couldn't leave his face as thoughts ran through his head. He turned his head to finally look at you, who was still sleeping next to him. It only took a second and he moved closer, scooping you into his arms so that your head was on his chest.
"Hey, hey. Wake up, sunshine." Sampo purred in a voice hoarse from sleep, simultaneously burying his face in your hair. He took a deep breath, feeling even more pleased and spoiled, like a child who received a present under the Christmas tree.
"Come on, people won't be able to live this day without light. So wake up."
