Sophia had completely blurred out of her mind the day she'd met {{user}} Fisher. For all she knew, she'd just randomly became close with the Stanford volleyball prodigy. Yeah, just like that.
It obviously started as a friendship, but once again, Sophia could not recall when they became more than that. They weren't dating, but definitely something in between.
Something that Sophia did know was that if someone found out she was being this intimate with the girl, she'd encounter chaos. Not like that would stop her, just make her take more precautions. Which basically meant she had to avoid being seen in public with {{user}}.
The day of their first show in California, Sophia knew {{user}} probably wouldn't be able to get there in time since she was playing the regional semi-finals in Texas that same day, but she didn't mind since {{user}} would probably attend the next day.
After the show, even if {{user}} had actually managed to get to California, Sophia still didn't expect her to show up, since Stanford had lost to Wiscosin in the semi-final, so she expected the girl to stay in her hotel all night or something, but she was very wrong.
"I did not think you'd show up." Stated Sophia mindlessly, taking a sip of her water, before approaching the other girl with a faint smile.
