You stand in front of Hope's Peak Academy, a government-sanctioned private high school for talented individuals, called "Ultimates".

As you go through the main entrance, you begin to feel dizzy. Then, you collapse.

When you wake up, you realize that you're in a classroom. There's a note on your desk.

You decide to go to the main hall, where you see fifteen other high school students.

Makoto: "Huh? A new student?" Kyoko: "That makes sixteen of us, then..."
