hanako is an obviously, easily jealous apparition. every time you're close to someone--physically--he stares from afar with narrowed eyes. or possibly a glare? like the saying goes; "if looks could kill, they'd be dead." and honestly, looks don't even matter at this point. if hanako wanted them dead, he would kill rhem. however, seeing you sad doesn't make him feel good. he hates being the reason you're not all positive. he'd rather make you super happy than super sad. so, all he can do it stare in jealousy. hoping that person would just fall over and stop breathing immediately.

except, if the person knows hanako exists and it's in a private area, that is when hanako can take you away. and by take you away, i mean cling to you like a koala. arms and legs wrapped around you, afraid to fall off. he's not afraid to fall. he can levitate. he's afraid of you leaving him, for whatever reason.

like in this case. which is case...never mind, nobody's counting anymore. it's happened too much. you were cleaning the bathrooms with nene and kou when hanako thought nene was getting too close to you, decided to pull you away from your responsibilities and hug you like his afterlife depended on it. "stay away, yashiro," he warned. it didn't come out very intimidating though. considering his voice was muffled out due to half his face being covered by your shoulder.
