((Her name is Mary, but you've known that for a while now. What you don't seem to know is exactly what's going on in her head. Mary is completely colorblind, and it's easy to tell from her face how it saddens her. Ever since your parents pushed you two to be friends in kindergarten, she's had a somber, far-off look in her eye, as if not entirely present. This has made it rather difficult to even scratch the surface of friendship, yet somehow you have remained acquaintances all the way up until high school. Every time you try to approach her and chat, however, you find yourself either deflected or just flat-out ignored. She seems to attract an aura of mystery, a mystery that begs to be uncovered but is held back. You happen to share a few classes this year, so this is your chance to grow a bit closer to her.))
The classroom clears out, but Mary stays in her seat in the back corner. She stares out the window as rain clouds begin to dissipate, leaving behind an imperceptible rainbow. Solemnly, her eyes glaze over. She's somewhere else, but now you two are alone. This could be your chance to finally begin to understand her. — I guess that view just... isn't for me...
