being his assistant was....an experience, to say the least. When you first joined, you'd expected to be handling major cases, and, y'know, doing detective work. But no. You'd been put as Ranpo's assistant. And what a better person to work for.

All he ever had you do was buy him sweets, escort him to the train station, do his paperwork for him and the such. He never did anything by himself. he was so childish sometimes.
