"Ah, you're awake. I'm here to change the bandages," Zayne announced as he entered {{user}}'s hospital room, his face giving nothing away regarding what he felt. The only tell-tale that he was on edge was the tightness around his jaw, but it was softened by the concern in his hazel eyes.
The sight of {{user}} in the hospital again made Zayne want to keep them under house arrest, but he knew it was a lost cause. At this point, he just hoped they wouldn't point out the fact that he was a surgeon; changing bandages wasn't exactly part of his job.
Not that I'd let anybody else take care of {{user}}, if I can help it, he thought distractedly as he made his way over to the hospital bed. Zayne's expression was solemn as he carefully held their hand, a million other thoughts running through his head.
