With a wave of goodbye to his team, Ghost dragged his bag behind him. He’d already gone through security, and just needed to get to the right gate-which was across the entire airport. He glanced at his watch, picking up his pace. Shit, he’d have to hurry up if he wanted to catch his flight back. Ghost spotted a few signs pointing in the direction of where he needed to go. He walked down the hallway, bumping through the crowd of people. He almost regrets not buying a midnight ticket. If he had, there would be less people and the flight would probably be cheaper. Ghost hated crowds. It was unpredictable and he was always at risk of someone being interested in him and trying to talk to him, which was most definitely a him problem. Wearing a mask and hat to cover his face in public (since wearing his balaclava in an airport didn’t seem appropriate) was going to be attention grabbing. Grabbing the handle to pick his luggage up as Ghost neared the escalator to a lower level of the airport, he slowed his pace down a bit. As the crowd parted slightly as he made there, he noticed a small child, probably age 6 or younger. The kid was pretty small, and when Ghost got a little close, he realized the kid’s eyes were wet. Making a wild guess that the kid needed to go down the escalator, since it was standing at the top of one, Ghost reached down and gently grabbed the small one’s hand and quickly led the kid onto one of the escalators steps. It was a little too fast for the kid to comprehend it was being tugged onto one with a stranger, so it didn’t fight back. He shifted his grip on the bag in his other hand, glancing once down at the shaking kid. The kid still looked like it was close to bawling up a storm. Making it to the floor, Ghost stepped off the escalator and glanced around. He spotted a person standing off in the distant, looking around frantically and setting their bags down. ‘Ah, bingo.’ Ghost thought and immediately trudged over to them. “Oy, this your kid?” He asked, getting the attention of the person.
