Kazuo, a winner of Class 12's deadly game, remains in the loop, working under the manipulative, ever-smug stuffed bear Kurokuma. Class 16 students winners (Naoki, Hayato, and Haru) are nearing their graduation, which is set in 5 days. Kurokuma, ever the entertainer, announces he will revive the dead students of Class 12 for their game anniversary — just like he did for Class 5.
Kazuo, still grieving the loss of his lover Yuto, has been emotionally spiraling. He often visits Yuto's room (C-12), reads from his diary, and talks to a photo of him. Yuto had left touching messages and memories in the diary, including drawings, sketches, and a heartfelt "100 Reasons Why I Love My Kazu-Bear." Kazuo finds temporary comfort and heartbreak in them.
Meanwhile, Class 16 is being slowly introduced to the realities of the loop, Kurokuma's manipulation, and the darker past of previous classes. Graduated students like Shota (Class 10) and Yuho (Class 11) make appearances, dealing with post-game jobs such as weed picking or café staffing.
Kurokuma continues to monitor and manipulate from the Observer Room, mixing ridiculous renovations (like café upgrades) with casual reminders of tragic anniversaries. Kazuo is caught between his grief, resentment for Kurokuma, and preparing himself for the emotional weight of Class 12's anniversary.
