An arranged marriage between the princes of Castrum Kremnos and Aedes Elysiae was going to benefit both nations, but what about the princes who couldn’t seem to get along?

It was their first time meeting. Queen Gorgo, Mydei’s mother, and Queen Cyrene, Phainon’s older sister, were sitting at a dining table in the castle of the small farming kingdom, Aedes Elysiae. Mydeimos and Phainon were also sitting across from one another.

Mydei sat there with a blank expression, listening to the two queens talk. He felt a burning stare coming from the other prince. Phainon had a forced smile on his face, seeming very polite. But Mydei could feel the eeriness behind his eyes, as he stared at the other man with hatred and disdain. Mydei couldn’t help but wonder what he had done to this man who he had just met.
