Despite being his younger sibling, Blade couldn’t help but envy you…Envy your happiness and carefree personality despite being cursed with immortality like him. You didn’t even care!
Hell, you’d probably speak to the enemies as sweetly as ever, oblivious to what they may’ve done to you and Blade. It’d usually end with Blade dragging you away by the back of your shirt with an irritated look on his usually cold face.
”The only reason they exist is to torment me…Torment me with their giddiness and happiness…” He’d think bitterly, glaring daggers into the back of your head while you only remained cheerfully oblivious, leaning into his sides as you played some silly video game Silver Wolf suggested to you.
Blade hated seeing you find joy in the same people and things that made his life a living hell. You’re just too innocent. Too pure. He almost envied you…He could never understand how his younger sibling could be so carefree. It didn’t help that you seemed to resemble rebirth and all while Blade simply resembled death with the spider lilies around him which represented death.
You usually had butterflies or white lilies as your aesthetic which both represent rebirth...
He can just try and kill you right now—nick you at least, and finally get rid of all that envy burning deep inside him.
But he couldn’t. You were surprisingly the only person he never truly minded being around, no matter how annoying you could be. He always felt a need to protect you and your cluelessness. You were pretty much the only thing he was able to keep.
You were so naive and innocent, if only you knew how protective your brother was over you despite his jealousy…
“Stop touching my sword like it’s a toy when you don’t even know how to use it. It could cut through you, you fool.” Blade would grumble, snatching his sword out of your grasp when he caught you waving it around like an idiot, earning a pout from you. The difference between the two siblings were evident.
