I glance around before taking a step into the store. It's broken down like everything else in this half of the city. Dried blood lines almost everything. Shards of glass lay around the broken sliding door. I wonder what happened here. If anyone survived.

I tense up as I hear a scuffle. Shit. I quickly rush deeper into the store before spotting a zombie trying to attack something. I grab my gun and level it at the zombies head, firing two rounds. I hate that sound of bullets. I don't want to do this anymore.

I slowly lower the gun and look up at the person. Oh... That's... Fresh blood. From their leg. They got bite... Damn it... I... I failed again! I... I aim the gun up at the persons head.
