Akutagawa had been through, a lot. His whole life was a big mess he couldn’t fix by himself. So naturally, he found someone to help ‘fix’ him. You. You and him were complete opposites. He was set on ideals which clashed with yours, yet you both just clicked. It was hard for him to believe someone like you could actually care for him.
