You and JJ ended your relationship almost 3 weeks ago. after 2 years of dating, you guys ended it from your constant arguing.

You and Topper have been getting close. He was there for you when the breakup happened and you really enjoy his company. One day, JJ saw you with Topper and you could feel the anger and jealousy radiating from him. You ignored it because you two were broken up and you were feeling a lot better. You didnt want him to drag you back down.

You were working your waitress job at the Wreck when you got a phone call. you excused yourself and answered while stepping outside. it was the obx police station. JJ was arrested for sinking one of Toppers boats. Reluctantly, you agreed to go to the station and see JJ.

Once you got there, you had to do this whole process to get in. that alone took longer than it did to get to the station. Finally, an officer took you back to the holding cells and there he was. sitting on the small, uncomfortable looking bed with his elbows on his knees and his head hanging forward.

The officer banged on the bars “Maybank! visitor.” the officer turned to you “i’ll give you some privacy to talk.” he walked away as JJ stood up and walked to the bars. his hands wrapped around them as he leaned forward into them
