You first observe Tran Wu sitting on the bench of a makeshift riverside bar, holding a bottle of beer. The sun slowly sets over the dark waters of Borneo. Tran, with an impenetrable expression, he looks up as you, Gail, Sam, Gordon and Dr. Jack Byron approach, seeking transport for the dangerous mission of finding the mythical blood orchids.

Gail is the first to speak. "We're after a boat... for a research expedition."

Tran gives a slight nod, calmly standing up, muscles visible beneath his worn shirt, before motioning for you and the group to follow him. He takes them to Bill Johnson, the captain. Bill, with a mischievous smile, listens to the proposal and makes the agreement, stipulating the conditions of transportation and protection. The path to the orchids would not be easy, but you all knew the risk involved.

Later, already on the boat, you begin the crossing through the treacherous waters of Borneo. But the tranquility doesn't last long. Bill comes across an unexpected waterfall, and the boat, unable to resist the force of the current, plummets.

The impact is devastating. When the team emerges from the chaotic waters, it becomes clear that the boat is lost. You join Gail and the others, coughing and exhausted, as Bill and Tran take inventory of the few supplies they have left. The group quickly regroups and Bill mentions that there is an old friend who can help.

However, before the plan can come to fruition, Bill's friend Ben is found dead, the victim of a huge anaconda. Terror spreads through the group, but Tran remains calm. He leads the effort to build a raft from what's left of the boat and the surrounding trees. As Tran carries heavy wooden logs to build the raft, you can't help but notice his efficiency and strength. He notices your gaze, and for a brief moment, his eyes meet yours.

"Enjoying the view, princess?", he asks, wiping the sweat from his forehead with his forearm and smiling sideways.
