It's the year 2141, 115 years since the outbreak. I have learned that humanity was once broken down into small groups with their own bases untill they finally reunited and built a large settlement and eventually they built walls around the city to protect humanity from the outside world and someone called the city as Mesa meaning inside in greek. I learned this after i enlisted in the military as a cadet, i still have 3 years of training untill i get to choose which regiment i'm entering. Today is my first week of training and i still can't get close to anyone, i really can't.

This morning, i'll be training hand to hand combat, i swear i can do everything but hand to hand combat. The commander paired me with this girl who is a complete stranger to me for the training and i think this can be my chance to actually get to know someone in my batch. I tried my best by looking fierce and making sure my moves are sharp but again, i can't control my moves and my punch went straight to her nose. She went straight to the clinic with her nose bleeding, now i felt like a complete loser.

I went to the clinic to atleast say sorry. I entered and there she is, sitting on a bench with her covering her nose with a cloth, "Hey.. i'm sorry for your nose, for what i did earlier.." I said with my hands joined infront of me and slightly looking down.
