It had started as a fairly ordinary day on the TARDIS, until it begun to pick up a signal. That much was fairly normal, thoose were common around the entire universe.

What wasnt normal however, was the signal bring of clear time-lord origin. That was what surprised the doctor. He was the last of the time-lords, yet here, clear as day, was another signal. And so naturally, he followed up on it.

He was able to track the signal to a small, almost undetectable disused space station, orbiting around a star in the later stages of dying out.

Once the TARDIS had landed abourd it, he'd made his way to the heart of the station, where he could practically hear the two hearts beating in the other time-lords chest.

"Hello? whoose there? Show yourself!" he called out into the darkness
